Gathering

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

15–20 October 2026

This gathering continues our shared journey as we discern together how GCSN is called to serve Christian education globally.

Purpose of the 2026 Gathering

The 2026 GCSN Gathering will not include a student component as we wish to focus particularly on:

  • the future direction of the Global Christian Schools Network,
  • strengthening our shared commitment to Mission and Service within Christian education,
  • developing a broader Global Fellowship of Christian Educators, grounded in our common faith and shaped by diverse cultural and educational contexts.
  • Our time together will provide space to:
connect with Christian school leaders from across the world,
  • share thinking, experience, and good practice in Christian education,
  • discern together, in prayer, how GCSN might best serve in the years ahead.

Venue: M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya

The hotel is well connected to public transport and located directly next to one of the largest shopping centres in the world (1 Utama), offering a practical and welcoming setting for our time together.

Thiebault Geyer

Thiebault Geyer, a member of the Mulhouse pastoral team responsible for youth, initiated "Bouge ta ville" ("Move your city"). His journey began in adversity, with a mother battling drug addiction. Her discovery of faith in Jesus led to a transformative change, and the family found love in their church community. A miraculous healing experience as a child strengthened Thiebault's faith, and as a teenager, he realized he didn't need perfection in their Christian journey. Embracing Jesus' grace, they committed to following Him, experiencing profound personal growth. Thiebault's story underscores the power of faith, redemption, and ongoing self-discovery through a relationship with God.

Serving with Kindness

The Adult Gathering is to be held on October 21 – 28th, 2023. It is a 6 day event for Christian educators including leaders, mission coordinators and board governors of schools. The focus is to develop a deepening knowledge, and practice, of Christian education with an emphasis on redemptive engagement, mission and service.

Come On Board

Student Mission Trip

The GCSN Planning Committee is committed to bringing you a Student Gathering that is God honouring and for His purpose.

Our hope is that young people would return to their own school communities equipped to encourage fellow students to have a heart for mission and service, and to engage redemptively wherever they may be.
