Who We Are

Global Christian Schools Network (GCSN) is a special gathering of Christian men and women with a common purpose; to support and build a firm Biblical foundation for Christian Education and to glorify God by exercising our God given gifts through missions and service, locally and around the world. As it is written in 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Our inaugural gathering took place in Hong Kong 2006 and since then by God’s grace, we have gathered every two years; China 2008, South Africa and Zimbabwe 2011, Switzerland 2012, Costa Rica and Guatemala 2014, Indonesia 2016 and Romania 2018. Due to COVID-19 we met online in 2021. In October 2023 we will have our next gathering in Colmar/France.

What are gatherings?

GCSN encompasses two components, an Adult Gathering and a Student Mission trip. All participants, adults and students have the opportunity to meet towards the end of the gathering for fellowship and reflection.

Student Mission Trips

The Student Mission trip is a 12-day event, the program encourages students and their supervisors to exercise their gifts by serving in the many locally planned mission projects. The aim is to develop the students’ attitude with cross cultural diversity and ignite a passion for serving.

Adult Gatherings

The Adult Gathering is a 5-day event, the participants are mainly Christian educators. The program consists of keynote speakers with profound knowledge of Christian education, devotion, focus teaching sessions, fellowship and prayer.

To share out servanthood thinking and practice in different cultures and locations; the unity of the Body of Christ with diverse expressions.
Commitment
To enhance our commitment to servanthood as image bearers of the Triune God; to live our lives humbly serving and being served.
Prayful Desire
To express and experience our fellowship in Christ.
Encourage
To encourage leaders and young people to live a life of servanthood and responsive discipleship.
Equip
To equip your young people to engage with people all over the world in mutually redemptive and God-honouring ways.
Serve
To express and experience our fellowship in Christ.
