Mike spent the first half of his career working in the Christian business world. Over the past 10 years, Mike has dedicated his time to working as the CEO for Open Doors, a charity that helps people who risk everything to follow Jesus. In his time working for Open Doors Mike has smuggled Bibles to Muslim background Christians in restricted countries, been chased by the secret police in North Africa, on lockdown in a hotel to avoid being kidnapped for ransom as well as ministered to and with secret believers in underground churches.
Through these experiences, Mike has developed a profound passion for people and telling their stories. Mike believes that the persecuted church are the perfect spiritual mentors for our faith -bold, and courageous believers who encourage and challenge us to live lives that pursue Jesus, no matter the cost.
